Masthead

This is the first draft for my newspaper masthead. As you can see the red/blue colour scheme is used in the backdrop with white used for the text and liver bird so it is bold and clear. In future I will extend the masthead to the right and include an advert or some sort of headline to fill the top of the front page.

I found this picture on http://www.softadviser.ro/sorina/pdf/resources/materiale%20engleza/front_page_net.pdf which gave me an overview of the technical terms used to describe the newspaper sections. From now on I will use these terms to describe my own newspaper design.
